Well, I am trying to add more retail products to my diaper store so that I do not have as much sewing to do and the profits can keep coming. So over the last few weeks I have added BabyLegs, soft sole shoes, Burt’s Bees, Merry Hempsters salve, Sheepish Grins products, Wahmies wet bags, and Dr. Bonner’s soaps. On the way I have swim diapers. I also have an eye out for a few other products as well.
It has been going well…the BabyLegs seem fly right out of the store. I am also keep very busy with the custom orders too. All is well in diaper land.

On Feb 26th my princess Paige turned 2! We had a little birthday celebration for her with a Madagascar themed cake. Everthing else had a Spongebob theme. I was even able to record it with my new DVD camcorder. Now many mornings we wakes up and requests a “Happy Birthday Cake”.

Well, I am just bad, bad, bad. Parker Maclain Washko made his way into this world on 1/13/06 and I am just now posting about it!
Just a few things about this pregnancy…it sucked! I was completely miserable for the whole nine months with nausea, irritable bowels, and general pain. I went into pre-term labor in Decmber and was soooo ready for it to be over but alas the hospital professionals stopped it after a 3 day stay in the hospital.
On the Friday the 13th (woohoo) I went to a regular OB/GYN appointment and my cervix was dilated half way and my bag of waters was bulging. So, seeing as how my second child came within the span of an hour I decided to let them induce by breaking my water. At noon they broke my water but nothing happened. They gave me a little dose of pitocin at 2:00 and nothing happened. You see they knew I HATED pitocin and didn’t want to get me upset but I was past the point of no return and allowed them to up the pitocin to full strength at about 4:00. Within ten minutes I was ready to push but the Docs were’nt ready so they made me wait! When I was finally able to push, I gave it 4 hard pushes and he was out….all nine pounds, 6 ounces of him, at 4:13 PM.
