Our newest family member to be…is a boy! I had my ultrasound today and there was no mistaking….we have a bouncing baby boy coming. Now I can settle on a name and start buying and making some boy diapers!

When Your Diapers are 2000 Miles Away…

What do you do? Buy more of course!

When I left for Ohio I did not expect that I would not being be going back to Phoenix, so I left Paige’s diapers behind. It did not take long for her to start getting rashes from disposable diapers and I was sick of leakage from them. I got to try several new WAHM stores and lots of great new diapers….mmmm….unexplored territory.

I bought a couple pocket diapers from Green Acre Designs and they are absolutely wonderful. One is a PUL pocket and one is Windpro…I love them.

I also bought a Harlyeez Dipeez pocket from WAHMarama and it very nice too. It looked so tiny that i didn’t think I had the right size but it does fit. It is kinda like a speedo pocket or a bikini pocket, LOL.

I bought a fitted diaper and cover from The Threaded Branch as well. They are good quality, very nice diapers. I was pleased.

I had a very good experience with DiaperWare. This store sells all kinds of small business WAHM diapers for retail. Not the big name brands like Fuzzi Bunz or Bumpkins but small WAHMs. I bought several different items and had them in 2 days!

Lots of lovely new fluff :)

Back Again…

I have been on hiatus again but I am back full force now. Here is basically what happened….

My grandmother died in early August. She lived in Ohio, nearly two thousand miles away but I had spent 4 out of previous 12 months out in Ohio with her. In fact, my mother and son were about to go and visit her for a month, scheduled for the day after she died. Well, I ended up taking myself and the two kiddos to Ohio for the funeral. It is now late September and I am still here :)
I am staying in my Grandmother’s house until her estate is settled and I am experiencing my first winter…with snow… ever. I am trying to see if I should live here permanently.

So far, we are loving it…but of course this is my second Fall here…what is not to love? Just wish Grandma were still here…
